Job Description
Clinical Primary Therapist - Behavioral Health

Schedule

Monday - Friday, hours of operation range from 8 am - 7 pm. On-call requirements for off shift and weekend support.

Assignment Details

This position involves providing crisis intervention and outpatient counseling services.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT license required.
• Familiarity with New York State OMH requirements.
• Prior work history in New York is preferred.
• Experience working with clients aged 5 and older.
• Outpatient behavioral health experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather relevant data for treatment plans.
• Establish a therapeutic environment that supports client recovery and engagement.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records in a timely manner.
• Provide crisis evaluations in collaboration with emergency department teams.
• Engage in quality improvement activities to assess therapy effectiveness.
