Heavy-Duty Diesel MechanicA great company in Russellville is looking for an experienced heavy-duty diesel mechanic with their own tools!This is a temp-to-perm opportunity that can lead to full benefits, vacation, 401K, and performance pay increases.Job Description:Complete troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds on engine products and other customer equipment in a service shop.Perform preventative maintenance based on the assessment of engines, tires, brakes, and electrical inspections, including utilizing computers/software in the process of diagnostic work.Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.Completing required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.Ongoing training and additional certifications on new and existing products.Adhere to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and procedures and report any issues/incidents to their supervisor.Requirements:Previous diesel mechanic experience.Must be willing to work in high humidity and slippery floors; must be willing to work in hot/cold temps.Must be willing to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the day.Must have no violations that would prevent being cleared to drive a vehicle.Must meet prescreening requirements.This position requires bending, stooping, reaching, lifting.Must be willing to perform any job as assigned by Management.
