ASSISTANT DIRECTOR PATIENT EXPERIENCE at Montefiore Medical Center Yonkers, NY

Job Summary The Assistant Director (AD) for Patient Experience will assist the Senior Director in leading, overseeing, and implementing patient experience initiatives across Montefiore Medical Center, and supervise Network Performance Group Patient Experience Managers and Administrators. The AD will assess organizational performance, progress toward MMC strategic goals, and provide expertise in patient experience. They will communicate with physicians, nursing, operations and executive leaders, fostering collaborative relationships and guiding best practices to improve patient experience and inform evidence‑based goals. Responsibilities Serve on patient experience committees, providing expert guidance on clinical practices, patient experience, and performance data analysis. Lead initiatives and support teams across the network to improve patient experience. Education, Skills and Knowledge Master's Degree. New York State RN License or equivalent nursing license. Seven years of experience in patient experience certification or equivalent clinical or administrative healthcare work experience. Demonstrated ability to take initiative. Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail, multi‑tasking and time management. Ability to operate within and contribute to a collaborative environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Problem solving, results‑focused and strong performance culture. Understanding of healthcare delivery systems and structural inequities. Understanding of clinical care delivery. Working knowledge of conceptual framework and performance measures in patient experience. Deals well with ambiguity and challenges; reflects thoughtfully.
