Position Summary Position Summary... What You'll Do Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels; budget and forecast sales and assess economic trends and community needs. Model, enforce, and provide direction to Associates on proper customer/member service approaches to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines and standards. Oversee implementation of and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging Associates to serve as good community members. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center; analyze and interpret reports, monitor asset protection, safety controls, safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews; develop action plans to improve performance; provide direction on company programs and strategic initiatives; and ensure confidentiality of records. Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing achievements, and promoting a belonging mindset. Ensure provision of quality eyewear: consult with and educate members/customers, select products based on needs, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, maintain confidential information, perform minor frame repair, and maintain optical equipment. Uphold the Company’s Open Door Policy: meet with associates, listen to concerns, research issues, review policies, and suggest resolutions; coordinate job‑related activities, maintain stakeholder relationships, support plans, and measure progress. Drive continuous improvements, adopt new technologies and skills, and support change. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $23.50 - $33.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) Minimum Qualifications Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules. Preferred Qualifications Supervising Associates.
