Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Your future role at a glance Location: Indianapolis, IN Facility: Women and Infants Tower Department/Specialty: Labor and Delivery Schedule: Full Time Days How you'll make an impact in this role Provide high-level clinical nursing for all deliveries, prioritizing safety and excellence. Design, implement, and adjust real-time patient care plans. Monitor and communicate vital patient condition changes to ensure mother and baby safety. Serve as the central point for the multidisciplinary team, coordinating physicians, specialists, and support staff for seamless, holistic care. Precisely and empathetically manage the birth experience, from executing physician orders to meticulously planning for safe discharge What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following are preferred: Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
