Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 36–40 hours per week | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Occasional weekends and call required | 26-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric
• Assist with and support a wide range of OR procedures including laryngoscopy, sinus surgery, facial plastics, trauma, cochlear implants, oral surgery, complex head and neck cancer surgery, tonsillectomy, and tympanoplasty
• Operate and utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment while maintaining patient safety and quality of care
• Collaborate as a team player with surgical staff, anesthesia, and support personnel to ensure efficient OR workflow

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (or pending state license may be considered)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in ENT, Dental, Plastics, Pediatrics, and/or Trauma Level 1 settings
• Ability to function in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• AORN membership or certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR
