Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit with a focus on orthopedic and colorectal post-operative patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care or Telemetry nursing
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Completed EKG Course and/or Telemetry competency test required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (travel compliance documentation required at submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Experience caring for orthopedic or post-operative surgical patient populations
• Comfort and flexibility with floating to varied units and care settings
