Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical-related conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory tests
• Work in unison with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handling surgical instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, covering medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
