Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 41 • Patient Ratios: 1:4 • EHR: Meditech
• Supervisor: Brad Shelton, Director of Acute Care Services
• Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc.: Serves all ages.

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units. • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Post Op Orthopedic Procedures, Total Joints, etc. • Personality Fit:
• Required Education: Required certification/licensure to work as an RN in Virginia.

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: No specific color scrubs required. • Any unacceptable attire: No casual wear.
