Every client has unique needs, and you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through individualized, relationship-focused care.Reliable transportation, a valid Utah driver's license, and proof of automobile insurance are required for this position.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate, high-quality personal care to clients in their homes.Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.Help clients safely transfer, ambulate, and reposition.Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed.Measure and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output as assigned.Observe clients for changes in physical or emotional condition and report concerns promptly.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment.Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and supervisors.QualificationsCurrent Utah Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.Applicants without certification must successfully complete Nurse's Aide certification within four months of hire.Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).High school diploma or GED.Valid driver's license with dependable transportation.Current automobile insurance.Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the care team.Previous home health, assisted living, hospice, or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.Who We're Looking ForOur ideal caregiver is someone who is:Compassionate and patientDependable and punctualProfessional and trustworthyFriendly and respectfulSelf-motivated and organizedPassionate about helping seniors and individuals remain independent at homeAbout Sunshine CaresSunshine Cares is a trusted Private Duty Home Care agency serving Cache and Box Elder Counties.
