Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Licensed Practical Nurse is needed to provide one-on-one care for a student in a supportive educational setting, covering a short-term period from July 6th to July 16th, 2026. With a predictable weekday schedule—just 14 hours per week, 8:00am to 12:00pm—you’ll have time to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

You’ll be an integral part of a student’s daily success, working closely to monitor vital health signs, manage tube feeding, handle assessments, and assist with all activities of daily living and transfers. Experience in seizure management, thorough monitoring and documentation, VNS assistance, asthma management, and proficiency with suction machines are essential for excellent care. Your active LPN licensure and demonstrated comfort with these duties will empower you to deliver the attentive, individualized support that this student deserves.

Qualifications:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing (preferred)
• Comfortable with tube feeding, seizure care, VNS assistance, and use of suction machinery
• Skilled at monitoring, documenting, and responding to medical needs promptly
• Commitment to providing compassionate, one-on-one care

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs and attend to medical needs throughout each shift
• Administer and manage tube feeds and medications as needed
• Support all ADLs and transfers with professionalism and care
• Respond rapidly to seizures or respiratory needs, implementing care plans
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate collaboratively with educational staff
