Study Tech - Dose Formulations
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks an entry-level technician to support preparation of test materials for dose administration in a regulated laboratory environment. The role involves learning formulation procedures, documenting data, and maintaining compliance with SOPs and GLP standards. After initial training, the position offers a four-day work week.
Responsibilities
- Learn to review study protocols and support test material formulation procedures
- Prepare laboratory reagents, vehicles, diets, solutions, and capsules according to protocols
- Collect, document, and maintain laboratory data in manual and electronic formats
- Perform basic calculations and formulation techniques under supervision
- Support sample handling, tracking, and disposition of dose materials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data documentation
- Ability to learn technical laboratory procedures and techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
