We're the trusted local partner for homeowners, contractors, and designers who rely on us for expertise, service, and community connection.Position Summary:The Paint Sales Associate/Delivery Driver supports daily store operations by providing knowledgeable, friendly customer service while ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to local customers. This role combines in?store paint sales—including tinting, product recommendations, and order preparation—with safe operation of a company vehicle for scheduled local deliveries.Primary Job Functions:Sell paint and paint sundries/accessories at authorized pricesInstruct customers on the use of paint & paint-related productsReceives and handles requests from customers and distributors for price quotes, purchase orders, order adjustments, and order cancellationsBuilds rapport with customers and works to ensure they receive excellent service.Uses a computer database to retrieve necessary customer information, inventory information and purchase order statusProvides pricing, delivery and other order information to customersDrafts purchase orders and invoices to submit to the accounting department.Maintains files of active orders and updates with changes to customer accounts or orders.Confirms the credit status of a customer with the financial/credit departmentsHandles instance of customer dissatisfaction and specific customer complains reasonably, promptly, and effectively and recommend adjustments to managementStock shelves with appropriate merchandise and maintain a premium store appearancePerforms other related duties as assignedMaintain a neat, clean updated paint counterBe able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysSelf Starter, quick learner, team player with strong communication skillsMust be able to answer phones, assist any customers, lift-up to 60lbs, take out the trash, clean where needed, and any other tasks that may need to be complete.Secondary Job Functions:Driving a truck or van through the five boroughs, Westchester, Putnam and Rockland countiesPre-load van with deliveriesPre route deliveries for the dayMaintain inventory transfer tickets ensuring the accuracy of loaded itemsEnsure truck or van is drivable at all timesChecking vehicle daily for safetyMaking sure all inspections and insurances are up to dateMaking sure to report any maintenance issues to management.Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:Valid license and clean driving recordHigh School diploma or equivalentMust be able to speak and write EnglishProficient computer skills and ability to learn database and ordering systemAbility to safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.Positive/friendly attitudeMust be available to work weekends and holidays as necessaryPreferred:Knowledge of the local area, including Westchester, Putnam, Rockland counties, and the 5 boroughs.Familiarity with routine vehicle maintenance.Paint/sundry product knowledge a plusBi-lingual (Spanish) a plusPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures with prolonged periods of standing, sitting, walking, crouching, squatting, loading and unloading truck or vanWork schedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilityHolidaysBenefits:Paid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurance401(k)Employee discountWallauer - Nanuet 52 College Ave, Nanuet, NY, 10954 Apply
