Project Overview:

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing & Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M&T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will support a project by performing technical or commercial logistics work. You will be responsible for domestic and international multi-leg shipments, ensuring safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements. You will assist the project logistics lead with shipment tracking, performance metrics, audits, and logistics studies to ensure project requirements are met. #LI-RG1

Major Responsibilities:

• Performs domestic and international multi-leg shipment responsibilities in support of project requirements to ensure the safe,timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements
• Prepareslogisticsreports or performance metrics asrequiredto satisfy project information requirements
• Identifiestransport cost and service alternatives to support materials/equipmentpurchasedecisions and use of Logistics Service Providers
• Prepares Logistics Service Provider commercial bid tabs, commitmentauthorizationsand contract documents
• Preparelogisticsstudies including site and Logistics Service Provider facility visits
• Coordinates shipments with requisite internal and external entities
• Ensuretimelyentry of shipment tracking data into Oracle Transportation (OTM) to provide visibility shipment status
• Ensurestimelyaudit and processing of Logistics service provider invoicesin accordance withproject procedures
• Assiststhe project Logistics lead as requested.
• Integrates safety requirements and measures in all Logistics activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requiresbachelor'sdegree (or international equivalent)in a relevant fieldand2-4years of relevant experience or5-7years of relevant work experiencein lieu of a degree.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding ofLegal Over-the-Road trucking, international container shipping
• Familiarity with international transport compliance and documentation regulations/procedures
• Microsoft Products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Willingness to learn
