Insurance Agency Leader

Job Description

gpac is currently assisting a well established insurance agency in ther search for an Agency Leader to oversee and lead the overall operatoin of the business.


This is a high impact leadership opportunity with full responsibility for agency performance, team lleadership, and operational execution across a multi office agency. The role is ideal for an experienced insurance leader who has managed at the agency, regional, or multi-location level and is looking for a true operational ownership role without a personal production requirement.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across the agency
• Drive producer performance through accountability, coaching, and growth initiatives
• Lead and develop producers, managers, and staff across multiple locations
• Establish and enforce sales goals, performance standards, and operational expectations
• Ensure alignment between sales activity and operational capabilities
• Promote consistency, professionalism, and a strong organizational culture
• Make key decisions related to hiring, talent development, and team structure
• Oversee overall agency execution and business performance

Background Requirements

• Insurance sales and operational leadership experience within an independent agency environment
• Proven experience leading an agency, branch, region, or multi-office insurance operation
• Demonstrated success managing producer performance and accountability
• Experience leading teams, managers, and support staff
• Strong business, financial, and operational acumen
