You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.15 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy retail and dining destination. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public areas, retail spaces, dining areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to site leadership. Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
