Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.ResponsibilitiesSupports a variety of project accounting functions for a portfolio of programsWorks closely with the Contracts Department and the Business Units to effectively support the finance and accounting requirementsCompletes project setup for a variety of project types (CPFF, T&M, FFP, FFP/LoE & Indirect Projects)Generates invoices and supports the billing submittal process to include preparation of backup documentation and submittal of invoices using online WEB based systemSupport the close-out processSupports other project accounting tasksUses discretion and judgment in handling sensitive, proprietary, and confidential materialDuties require initiative, knowledge, flexibility and judgment.Must be a critical thinker and able to develop solutions of their own to solve problemsQualificationsBachelor's degree required.Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.Experience with Deltek Costpoint 7.Experience in accounts receivable, accounting, contracts, or project controls within a government contracting environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Working knowledge of government contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret, simplify, and effectively communicate complex or technical information to stakeholders at all organizational levels.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing competing priorities and consistently meeting high performance expectations.Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.Target salary range: $52,000-$88,000Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
