EPC Project Manager

Duration: 12+ Months (with a possibility of extension) Location: Michigan (Hybrid) Location: Jackson office location preferable, but would consider other service center locations (M, T, Th in office) 15-20% time spent out in field - projects all over the state (Southern portion of the state) required quarterly team meeting in Jackson training - will need to be in Parnall for training Department: Enterprise project management electric distribution - team of 8 managing projects building substations for large customers or high voltage distribution lines and low voltage distribution lines for other customers. Some projects are also to support reliability projects to meet long-term financial plans- they include reliability projects, capacity projects to provide additional electric capacity in various communities around Michigan Some projects are specifically for large customers where we may be building a dedicated substation for a single customer matrixed organization - a lot of coordination/collaboration between engineering, supply chain, field construction support staff Responsibilities: managing 6-8 projects, vary in size- project sizes between $2-$10M budget sizes focus on scope, schedule, budget get a scope of work to implement on time and on budget and make sure everyone stays safe lots of coordination experience, work with multiple personalities Skills: 4 - 8 years project management experience Strong substation construction experience preferred Needs construction or utility experience (understand permitting and construction risks that come into play) Good communication skills - verbal and written Good interpersonal skills Ability to bring a team together and be a good communicator, keep everyone focused and on task Primavera P6 software nice to have Unifier nice to have SAP nice to have Lean experience/problem solving experience nice to have #J-18808-Ljbffr TPI Global Solutions
