Position Overview As an Electrician Specialist, you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. We seek a meticulous professional with profound knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols who can troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Primary Responsibilities Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings to determine wiring layouts. Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and implement efficient solutions. Cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits and electrical fittings. Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors. Position, maintain, and install distribution and control equipment. Install, replace, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting and control systems. Splice, join, and connect wiring to form circuits. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify hazards or defects. Collaborate closely with engineers and contractors for electrical installations and upgrades. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials and time spent on each project. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school preferred. Valid electrician license as per state regulations. Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance. Strong proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, plus an in-depth understanding of electrical systems and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Frequent lifting and carrying of tools and materials, commonly weighing up to 25-50 lbs. Climbing, crouching, and kneeling in various workspaces, including confined areas. Standing for extended periods while troubleshooting or wiring. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Necessary hand and finger dexterity for tool manipulation. Pay Range: $20 - $30/hr #J-18808-Ljbffr
