Description
  • Conduct evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings to devise tailored treatment plans
  • Implement physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functional capabilities
  • Work hand in hand with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
  • Educate both patients and their families on therapeutic aims, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
  • Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress per facility and regulatory requirements
  • Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee seamless care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State license as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred CPR certification
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
  • Prior experience is highly preferred
