Hampshire Hills Athletic Club is seeking passionate, professional, and team-oriented Pilates and Barre Instructors to join our Group Fitness team.

We are looking for instructors who are knowledgeable, engaging, and committed to creating safe, effective, and welcoming classes for members of all fitness levels.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INSTRUCTORS WHO:

• Have a strong understanding of Pilates and/or Barre principles.
• Provide clear, effective instruction and meaningful coaching.
• Prioritize member safety and offer appropriate modifications and progressions.
• Create an inclusive and encouraging class environment.
• Bring professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity to every class.
• Are dependable and committed to their scheduled classes.
• Support fellow instructors and contribute positively to the team.
• Communicate professionally and use appropriate channels when concerns arise.
• Are open to feedback and committed to continued growth.
• Take pride in being part of the Hampshire Hills Group Fitness team.

• Pilates Certification: Must hold a recognized Pilates instructor certification from an established training organization.
• Barre Experience/Training: Formal Barre certification or documented Barre training and/or teaching experience is preferred.
• National Certification: AFAA or ACE certification is required.
• Live Class Demonstration: Candidates must complete a live teaching demonstration as part of the hiring process.
• Commitment: Must be willing to make a consistent commitment to the schedule and reliably teach an assigned regular class.
• Teamwork: Must work well with teammates and contribute to a supportive, positive, and collaborative team environment.
• Professionalism: Demonstrates reliability, preparedness, positive communication, and a commitment to Hampshire Hills Athletic Club standards.
• Member-Focused: Creates an inclusive, motivating, and welcoming environment for participants of varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels.
• Safety & Technique: Demonstrates strong knowledge of proper form, alignment, exercise execution, and appropriate modifications.
• Coachability: Willing to receive feedback, continue developing professionally, and participate in instructor education and team initiatives.
