The clinic is equipped with the latest technology and resources to effectively treat a diverse patient population. Your work schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week, with variable weekend hours to accommodate patient needs.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional limitations and disabilities, developing tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs.Providing expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding patients' continuum of care, ensuring effective collaboration and optimal treatment outcomes.Delivering high-quality patient care by implementing treatment modalities, conducting regular re-evaluations, and educating patients and their families on health management.Maintaining thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.Engaging in interdisciplinary communication, collaborating with referral sources, physicians, and other team members to create and execute patient-centered care plans.Participating in quality initiative projects and community outreach efforts to enhance the clinic's visibility and educational programs.Supervising and guiding support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants, Aides, and students, to ensure the effective delivery of care.Investing in continued professional development through attending in-service training sessions, conferences, and self-study to ensure competencies are maintained and enhanced.Patient Population / Client FocusOur clinic serves a diverse array of patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, ranging from post-surgical recovery cases to sports injuries and chronic pain management. Your expertise will not only aid in their physical recovery, but also support their emotional and psychological well-being throughout the rehabilitation process.QualificationsTo qualify for this position, candidates must possess:A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.BLS Certification.Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective patient interaction and documentation.Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.Preferred ExperienceWhile not required, candidates with previous experience in orthopedic settings or specialized treatment methodologies are encouraged to apply.
