Electronic Security Sales Account Executive
DC / Northern Virginia / Norfolk | Remote + Customer Travel
We’re partnering with a leading building technology and security solutions provider that is looking to add an experienced Electronic Security Sales Account Executive to its growing Federal business.
This is a great opportunity for a proven security sales hunter who enjoys developing new relationships and winning complex opportunities with Federal, DoD and government contractor customers .
The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and winning new Federal & DoD accounts
- Selling integrated electronic security and fire/life-safety solutions
- Building relationships with government and military stakeholders
- Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Identifying new projects and developing a strong pipeline
- Working closely with engineering and technical teams on complex solutions
- Supporting proposals, competitive bids and capture activities
- Traveling regularly to customer sites across the region
What Were Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in electronic security, fire/life safety or integrated security sales
- Proven experience selling into Federal, DoD or government environments
- Strong new business development / hunter mentality
- Knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection or integrated security systems
- Experience with federal procurement, contracts or capture is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
