About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Slice, prepare, and package deli meats, cheeses, and specialty items to customer specifications

Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders and answering product questions

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked deli counter and display case

Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures

Operate deli equipment including slicers, scales, and wrapping machines

Monitor product freshness and assist with inventory and restocking

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

Prior deli, food service, or customer service experience preferred

Knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, and prepared foods is a plus

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
