Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd & 3rd Shift

About Us: TekPro is working with a leading beverage manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality beverages for consumers worldwide. This position is with a great company that offers a lot of flexibility and room for advancement. The company has purchased a lot of new, modern equipment and has experienced over 30% growth in the past four years!

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the second or third shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing bottling, labeling, packaging, and conveying equipment in a manufacturing setting. This position is critical to ensuring our production lines operate efficiently and smoothly to meet our production goals.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on bottling, labeling, packaging, and conveying equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues with machinery.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the beverage industry.
Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently.
Knowledge of pneumatic systems and experience with basic welding techniques.
Familiarity with PLC systems; experience with troubleshooting and programming PLCs is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Availability to work on the second or third shift (Monday - Friday).
