Senior Manager leading data engineering and applied data science teams at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Responsible for designing and delivering enterprise data products, AI solutions, and machine learning capabilities that drive business growth and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Translate business priorities into scalable enterprise data products and AI solutions delivering measurable business value
Design and deliver reliable, secure, scalable data pipelines while establishing DataOps, CI/CD, and engineering standards
Guide development and production deployment of machine learning, Generative AI, and advanced analytics solutions
Ensure enterprise data is trusted, governed, contextualized, and optimized for analytics and AI applications
Build and develop high-performing data engineering and applied data science teams with cross-functional partnerships

Requirements

Advanced degree plus 6 years experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years in data science and analytics leadership
Expertise in machine learning, AI, statistical modeling, Python, R, and SQL
Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proven success leading and mentoring data science teams at scale
Strong knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance, and Agile methodologies
Advanced certifications in data science, machine learning, or AI technologies valued

Compensation: $152,000–$227,900 base
