What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Function: Under supervision, perform a variety of tasks required in the preparation and serving of food. Duties & Responsibilities: Accurately assemble supplies and materials; set up service area and serve food as required. Requires the physical ability to walk, push, pull, climb, crouch, reach, stoop, feel, finger, stand for an extended period of time, possess dexterity and strength in the hands, arms, and shoulders, and exert up to 35 pounds of force unassisted. Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Successful completion of Cashier Training Class and passing score on final test is required for positions with cashiering duties. Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and University policies, procedures and communications. No allergies to soaps, cleaning agents, oven cleaners, or other materials or environmental factors in food service, e.g., steam, dust, etc. Must have clean body, teeth, hair, nails, and clothing. Must be able to perform all physical and mental requirements outlined in each job duty/responsibility. You must be 18 years or older. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a school cafeteria, hospital cafeteria, or similar experience in quantity food preparation and/or service.
