This position supports management in general operations of the store to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability. Responsibilities include performing various sales and register transactions and supervising store associates as needed. Responsibilities Promotes customer service by ensuring associates greet and assist customers; respond to inquiries and handle complaints professionally and in a timely manner. Performs basic operations activities including cash handling and reporting, price changes, merchandise handling, and opening/closing duties; reviews time sheets and payroll documentation for accuracy and submits as appropriate. Monitors associate sales activities and productivity; communicates performance feedback and aids in coaching to help achieve store goals. Maintains awareness of customers to increase service levels and reduce security risks; stays current on policies regarding payments, exchanges, and security practices. Maintains knowledge of promotions; presents and displays merchandise in accordance with current promotions and standards. Supports receipt and dispatch of inventory and supplies according to company policy. Supervises associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation, or customer services; prepares weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines. Models sales techniques and product knowledge; assists customers in locating or obtaining merchandise based on needs. Builds and maintains customer relationships through clienteling and wardrobe recommendations. Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by management. Participates in and facilitates visual directives including store sets and merchandise replenishment. Assists in development of store associates; interprets KPI reports and provides coaching and performance feedback to Store Manager as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years old or older Minimum 2 years retail or sales management experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to travel to stores throughout the district Strong customer service skills Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate a register; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Regular attendance is essential Wage range: $17.50 to $21.90 per hour.
