As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government tourism location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to routine concerns, and support a secure environment through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.24 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests at a government tourism location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, providing directions and assistance while helping maintain orderly operations at the location. Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
