Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant

A & H Metals, Inc. is HIRING NOW for friendly and hard-working Delivery Drivers / Warehouse Assistants to perform daily deliveries and help out in our warehouse when needed. Ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, be over 21, and be able to drive trucks ranging from pickups to 20' low cab forward flat beds. We support our talented employees through ongoing training and education to ensure growth personally and within the company.What we offer:$23 - $26 per hour based on experienceOngoing training to enhance your skillsetMedical, Dental, and Short/Long-term Disability InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with dollar-for-dollar company matchPaid time off23,000 sqft facility with state-of-the-art equipmentFriendly, fast-paced work environmentResponsibilities:Daily pickup and deliveries to Commercial customers and Construction sites within the local tri-state areaPerform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to shop managerEnsure that trucks are loaded safely and ensure loads are properly secured to prevent damageOperate a fork-lift to load and unload shipments and deliveriesWhen not driving, will be responsible for racking raw materials and general shop organizationAdhere to safe driving practices and rules of the roadRequirements:Bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50lbs.Be a team player and have the ability to take instruction from multiple project managersBe courteous and respectful to customers and associates while making deliveriesBe organized and turn in required paperwork after each completed taskWork overtime and Saturdays as neededMust be able to pass a DOT physical and comply with all DOT standards and regulationsValid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record requiredYou should be proficient in:DOT Medical CardDriver's LicenseLoading and Unloading VehiclesTruck Operations & Load Securementforklift trained #J-18808-Ljbffr
