Tax Senior and Manager - Public Accounting

Kforce's client, a boutique CPA Firm located in the Union, NJ area, is adding a Tax Senior and Manager to their team. The roles are open to expansion. Responsibilities:

• High Net Worth Individuals is a key here - review and provide compliance with federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profits as well as high net-worth individuals; Will also serve some multi-state and international entities and customers
• Strategic tax planning
• Compliance with current tax laws and regulations; Client communication & representation to tax authorities
• Risk management
• Collaboration with other departments
• For the supervisor role: lead, mentor, and supervise a team
• Bachelor's in Accounting; Masters a plus
• CPA or EA or pursuing preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years for Tax senior & 7+ years for Tax Manager - experience should be with 1040's, as well as small to mid-sized business S-corp, C-corp and Partnership and Hight Net-Worth tax filing, planning, and strategic services
• Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deliverables simultaneously
• IRS e-Filings
• CCH Walters Kluwer software a plus
