Seasonal Driver / Greenery Helper

We are hiring dependable seasonal drivers to help during our busy winter greenery season in October thru mid December.

This is a hands-on job. You will be driving, loading, unloading, and helping pull orders for fresh winter greenery. The work is physical and outdoors.

Job Duties:

• Drive and deliver winter greenery orders
• Load and unload products
• Help pull customer orders
• Lift and carry heavy greenery, including spruce tops, Norway pine, balsam bales, wreaths, and garland, some bough bundles can weigh 50 plus pounds
• Work outdoors in cold weather
• Help customers in a friendly and professional way
• Help with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Able to pass a DOT physical
• Able to lift 50+ pounds
• Able to bend, twist, walk, and be on your feet during the day
• Dependable, on time, and ready to work
• Good attitude and good customer service skills

Helpful Experience:

• Experience driving a larger vehicle, such as a 26’ box truck, is a plus
• CDL is not required

Schedule:

• Seasonal work in October - Mid December
• Part-time to full-time hours available during peak season
• Our next busy season is April and May
• Some flexible off-season hours may also be available

Pay:
$20.00–$24.00 per hour to start, with higher pay available based on experience.

This is a great job for someone who likes physical work, enjoys being outdoors, and wants seasonal hours with the possibility of additional work during the year.

We sell to garden centers, landscapers, professional gardeners, grounds maintenance crews, florists, municipalities, restaurants, and other businesses throughout the Minneapolis area, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

We are a family-owned, fast-paced, hardworking, and friendly company. Our winter greens season is busy and physical, and our drivers play an important role by delivering and unloading fresh product for our customers.
