Phlebotomist

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Onley, VA. Job Overview We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Work Schedule Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm; hours may vary. Rotating Saturday shifts. Application Window 6/11/26 – 6/30/26 Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program, or 6 months’ or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience). Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Pay Range $17.75–$27.69 per hour. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible for the 401(k) plan. Employees scheduled to work a 7‑on/7‑off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
