About the Position

Job Title: RN - IR Neurovascular Moderate Sedation Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Nurse Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of experience required License: RN License (New York) Certifications: BLS Certification (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Moderate Sedation Experience, IR Experience, Telemetry Description: Join a dedicated team that provides moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area. Care for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care. Responsibilities include intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating when not providing moderate sedation. The RN administers moderate sedation and closely monitors the patient's cardiac and physical status. Collaborate with the physician to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy. BLS, ACLS, telemetry, and the ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation independently are required.
