We’re looking to hire an energetic and outgoing host/hostess with outstanding customer service skills. You’ll need excellent communication skills to answer phone inquiries and make reservations. Your main duties include welcoming guests and guiding them to a table that has been cleared and cleaned. You’ll ensure that there are enough seats for the entire party and check that each guest has tableware. Your attire should be professional and neat, with comfortable shoes so you can stand on your feet frequently throughout your shift. $43,500

• Help clear and wipe down tables and set up tables with utensils and glassware for the next party
• Lead all guests to their seats, ensuring they all have a place to sit, proper glass and tableware, filled water glasses, and menus
• Respond to phone inquiries professionally and secure reservations while ensuring all seating issues are quickly and efficiently handled
• Make sure dining room tables and chairs are neatly organized at all times and that condiments on the table are restocked if low
• Learn the menu, including the daily specials and accurately describe how dishes are prepared

• Must be able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere with periods of standing on feet for an extended length of time
• Some restaurant, hospitality, and/or food services industry experience is preferred
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED and should speak English well
• Responsible for communicating politely with customers, skilled at organizing, and have the ability to troubleshoot customer requests or issues quickly, and efficiently

We are going to be opening a family restaurant in August for the summer season. We are looking for someone with good people skills and isn't afraid to work with the team.
