Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer (PCB/CCA Design) - Intermediate Level
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design. This role will focus on end-to-end board-level development, including schematic capture, component selection, constraint definition, and physical layout (component placement and routing). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siemens Xpedition and a strong understanding of industry standards and documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) from concept through layout
• Perform schematic capture, component selection, and design constraint definition
• Execute PCB layout, including component placement and routing using Siemens Xpedition
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire harness prints
• Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards and quality requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of PCB/CCA design experience
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, specifically Siemens Xpedition
• Strong understanding of:
  • Wire harness print reading
  • PCB and circuit card design principles
  • Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation
• Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Altium Designer
• Exposure to additional PCB design tools and methodologies

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $50.00/hr.
