Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring and treatment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: • Continuously evaluate and monitor patients for signs of recovery or deterioration • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols • Assist physicians during bedside procedures and monitoring within the PCU • Accurately report patient status and progress to healthcare team members and families • Start IV lines, insert catheters, and change dressings as needed • Maintain readiness of medical equipment and ensure adequate supply levels Required Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a progressive care or similar unit • Active RN License from Georgia or a Compact State • Covid-19 vaccination record Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in critical care or step-down unit settings Certifications: • Basic Life Support (BLS) • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Additional Requirements: • Updated professional resume • Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or charge nurse #J-18808-Ljbffr Compunnel, Inc.
