Desired Skills and Experience:

• Active SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
• Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of best practices in supporting K-8 students with speech and language disorders
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, therapists, and families
• Ability to use data to track student progress and adapt interventions as needed
• Flexibility to work with varying caseloads and adapt to evolving student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement therapeutic activities under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist with assessments and documentation of student progress
• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to K-8 students
• Prepare and maintain materials for therapy sessions
• Foster an encouraging and supportive environment for student learning
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational personnel on student care plans
