Job Summary & Qualifications Radiology Technologist – full‑time position at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. Licensed in Florida (CRT). You will take radiographs (x‑rays) and perform procedures accurately and compassionately. Responsibilities Possess thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment. Obtain high‑quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, ensuring optimal images are submitted for interpretation. Select proper technical factors and techniques, including administration of contrast media when indicated. Prepare, transfer, and position patients safely, maintaining modesty and using auxiliary equipment when necessary. Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields in MEDITECH accurately and on time. Maintain proactive communication with patients and colleagues, including the radiologist. Check operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross‑contamination, and keep rooms stocked with liners and supplies. Qualifications Completion of a 24‑month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA‑approved school. Valid ARRT certification. Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
