Maintenance TechnicianIn this position, you will be making a difference each and every day. The positions we offer at Servpro enables our team members to grow within the business and evolve with the everchanging times.Essential Job Functions:Maintain production machines and facility equipmentProvide repairs of equipment during production and maintain machine servicesOffer mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machineryRead and interpret equipment manuals and schematicsDiagnose problems, replace and repair parts, and test and make any necessary adjustments to equipment when neededPerform regular preventative maintenance on machine, equipment and plant facilitiesOperate a variety of hand and power tool, electric meters and material handling equipmentComply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environmentPerform all other duties assigned or neededQualifications:Effective oral communicationExperience in cleaning/restoration preferredHigh school diploma/GEDIICRC certifications preferredPhysical and Work Environment Requirements:Previous experience in machinery or related fieldsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with industrial tools and equipmentMust be able to lift/move objects that weigh up to 50lbs unassistedReliable mode of transportationDrive a forkliftAdheres to all safety procedures and guidelinesAbility to travel locally and out of state as necessaryAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawAbility to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistanceExposure to chemicalsWalking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbingAbility to climb ladders and work at ceiling heightsAbility to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objectsCompensation: $19.00 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Picture yourself here fulfilling your potential.At SERVPRO®, you can make a positive difference in people's lives each and every day!
