As a Warehouse Worker, you play a vital role in moving a wide range of products, from personal protective equipment to scientific tools used in classrooms and laboratories. You help ensure that critical supplies reach the people who need them, supporting work that makes the world healthier and cleaner. Responsibilities

• Process customer orders each day to meet service expectations and delivery timelines.

• Perform one or more core warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and put-away.

• Accurately pick items from inventory and prepare them for shipment according to order requirements.

• Pack items using appropriate materials and documentation to protect products in transit.

• Label and package shipments in line with standard operating procedures, including required documentation for hazardous materials.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as swing reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers; training is provided as needed.

• Use warehouse management systems, computers, and scanning equipment to track inventory and complete assigned tasks.

• Handle hazardous materials and chemicals in accordance with safety and compliance guidelines.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout the shift.

• Follow all safety, compliance, and operational procedures to ensure a secure and efficient distribution process.

• Support packing and equipment operation as primary job functions to move product efficiently across the warehouse.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2+ years of general warehouse experience.

• Experience with powered industrial trucks such as order pickers, forklifts, and swing reach trucks.

• Experience in core warehouse operations including order picking, packing, receiving, shipping, and put-away.

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach for extended periods during the shift.

• Comfort working at heights up to 20 feet when required.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team.

• Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn new systems, equipment, and processes.

• Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions, labels, and safety documentation.

• Competence in using warehouse management systems, computers, and scanning equipment to complete tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience handling hazardous materials and chemicals is a plus.

• Prior experience operating swing reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers is beneficial.

• Familiarity with labeling requirements and documentation for hazardous shipments is advantageous.

• Comfort with learning new technology, equipment, and warehouse processes.

• Strong sense of ownership and reliability in meeting daily productivity and quality goals.

Work Environment

You work in a large, well-organized distribution center where processes are clearly defined and consistently followed. The role is primarily on-site and physically active, requiring extended periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching, as well as occasional work at heights up to 20 feet. You regularly use warehouse equipment such as swing reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers, with training provided for safe operation. Daily tasks involve packing, picking, shipping, receiving, processing orders, labeling, and moving product across the warehouse using warehouse management systems, computers, and scanning devices. The facility operates on weekday shifts: a first-shift pick/pack team from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a second-shift picker/packer team from Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and organization, with a practical, work-appropriate dress code suited to an active warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Agawam, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $22.28/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
