Community Outreach Associate Austin Events Austin, Texas, United States About this position Our company is looking for an enthusiastic and people-focused Community Outreach Associate to help support nonprofit outreach programs and community engagement efforts. In this role, you will represent our organization at local events and activities that build awareness for important causes, help strengthen community relationships, and create positive experiences for the public. This position provides valuable hands‑on experience working directly with the community and partner organizations while contributing to meaningful outreach initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities Attend and assist with community outreach events, informational sessions, and nonprofit-focused activities Engage directly with community members to share information about nonprofit partners and their programs Provide supportive, accurate responses to questions from the public Assist with setup and breakdown of event booths, informational materials, and event spaces Help collect notes, feedback, and participation data at outreach activities Maintain outreach records and accurate documentation of interactions Collaborate with team members to ensure events run smoothly and professionally Promote our mission and partner organizations respectfully and clearly Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people in public settings Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills with attention to detail A positive, solutions‑oriented attitude Prior experience in volunteer work, community service, outreach, customer service, or event support is a plus (but not required) Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours for events What We Offer Paid position with training and development Opportunity to work on meaningful outreach initiatives Collaborative and supportive work environment Hands‑on experience with community engagement and nonprofit support #J-18808-Ljbffr Austin Events
