Calibration Technician

We provide a comprehensive range of calibration services and capabilities which include a wide range of flow rates, temperatures, and pressures utilizing numerous test gasses.Responsibilities:Participates in Flow Measurement TrainingPerforms assembly and disassembly on test systems utilizing hand, pneumatic and battery-operated tools, and overhead cranes or hoists.Perform calibrations and testing, data acquisitionEstablish appropriate communication with meter under testEnsures that customer requirements are met for calibrations and testingWorks directly with customers to meet calibration requirementsPerforms troubleshooting of meters and test systems/instrumentationUtilizes all equipment and instrumentation used in labsAssists other departments as neededPreferred Experience and Skills:Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Practical experience in metrology, calibrations, and data analysis.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentagesTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to acquire functional knowledge of Internal DAQ CEESI operational software; Manufacturer software and Database software.
