Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, 40 scheduled hours. Start date: 08/28/2026, end date: 11/27/2026, duration: 13 weeks.

Description: 4, 10-hour shifts (07:00-17:30) with a 30-minute break. Call required 6-9 days per month. 36 hours, 4-9 hour days, with 24-hour on-call. Cath lab is open 24/7 for cardiac emergencies; M-F call is from 5:15 pm - 7 am, weekend call is 24 hours each day. Cath Lab experience required. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Suite is located on East Tower 10. There are two cardiac catheterization laboratories. The labs operate Monday through Friday 7 am through 5:15 pm but are available for emergency cardiac procedures 24/7. The labs perform multiple invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures in the adult population including diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral catheterizations, stent implants, IABP, Impella, EKOS, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, Penumbra, Pericardiocentesis, Shockwave, and IVC filters. All TEEs and Cardioversions are also performed in the department. We perform TAVRs and MitraClips in conjunction with the hybrid OR. The most frequent medical diagnoses include Coronary Artery Disease, Myocardial Infarction, Unstable Angina, Aortic/Mitral Valve Disease, and Peripheral Vascular Disease. Float to Milford Campus as needed. Type of facility - Short term acute care hospital. Total staffed beds - 426. Scrubs: PROVIDED FOR THIS ROLE. Level II Trauma Ctr. Charting - EPIC. Free Parking. Job Requirements & Qualifications: Previous Charge Experience, Years of Experience, Patient Ratio Experience, Charting System Experience, Preferred Charting System Name, Community Hospital Experience, LTAC Experience, Trauma Level I Experience, Trauma Level II Experience, Travel Experience Required, Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Skills: Cardiac Stent Placement, Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Left heart catheterization, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Right heart catheterization, Starting and maintaining IVs.

Patient Diagnoses: All adult patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology Laboratory. 9 RNs, 8 RTs (Radiology Technologists). Number of Beds = 2 Cath Labs, 1 Procedure Room, 1 Implant Room, 1 EP Lab. Types of pts = All adult patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.

Travel Compliance RTO: We can auto approve up to 7 days for auto offers. If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested. 2 years required for submission (within specialty submitting to). We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp. CT License takes 15-21 business days to issue. Candidate must apply prior to submittal and start date should allot for the license to issue. Local candidates NOT accepted. Candidate is considered local if they are within 75 miles of hospital site. 1 Reference Required. Return Staff Policy (must be gone 2 yrs to return as traveler). Modules: Modules are non-billable. RN: 2 hours. Allied: 1 hour. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, and vary by specialty.
