About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT or R), CA CRT Must-Have: Community Client experience required Ability to work independently and efficiently Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays Description: High-volume, fast-paced facility. Expect to perform 30-40+ scans per 12-hour shift. Self-scheduling based on seniority. May be asked to volunteer for shifts outside of contracted start times. Must be open to working weekends and long shifts as needed. No call required. Traveler may not float between units. Experience with GE and Toshiba equipment is preferred. Some outpatients but primarily emergency department patients. Transport support is available, but technologists are encouraged to assist when needed. Must comply with all safety protocols and guidelines. Must efficiently prepare and administer contrast media. Specific skills in cardiac and vascular imaging are desirable. Completion of modules required prior to start and annually thereafter.
