Operations Manager

A large, growing multi-site outpatient healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the administrative and operational performance of multiple physician practice locations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing practice performance, enhancing the patient experience, and supporting continued growth across a multi-site network. The Operations Manager will partner closely with Practice Managers, physicians, and senior leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, achieve key performance metrics, and implement strategic initiatives across the assigned region. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Provide operational oversight for multiple orthopedic practice locations within the assigned region. Support and mentor Practice Managers to ensure consistent execution of organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards. Drive practice performance by monitoring and improving operational workflows, patient access, scheduling efficiency, and overall productivity. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational effectiveness across all sites. Performance Management & Analytics Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient volume, provider productivity, scheduling, revenue cycle, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Develop action plans to address performance gaps and improve practice outcomes. Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership. Utilize data‑driven decision making to support strategic and operational initiatives. Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and administrative teams to support practice growth and operational goals. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional patient service. Assist with workforce planning, staffing optimization, and employee engagement initiatives. Serve as a resource and escalation point for operational challenges across the region. Strategic Planning & Growth Support implementation of organizational growth initiatives, including practice expansion and integration efforts. Assist leadership with budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning. Evaluate opportunities to improve patient access, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Lead and participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives. Compliance & Quality Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and healthcare industry standards. Partner with leadership to maintain high standards of patient care and service excellence. Support quality improvement efforts and best‑practice implementation across all locations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience. Experience managing multiple physician practice locations required. Demonstrated success managing practice operations, staff, and performance metrics across multiple sites. Strong understanding of physician practice management, scheduling, patient access, revenue cycle, and operational workflows. Proven ability to analyze data, develop solutions, and implement operational improvements. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
