Job Title Mechanical Engineer Location Franklin Lakes, NJ Contract Term 3+ Months Hours 37.50 Hours per week (Mon - Fri) Description Educational Qualification/Experience: BS degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering with 0-2 years of experience. Job Description Working as an extended R&D team member on a cross‑functional project team to support product design & development deliverables. Strong mechanical aptitude. Experience using mechanical measurement equipment (Instron). Experience with statistical analysis (Minitab). Superior communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent mechanical analysis and troubleshooting skills. Provide solid technical engineering skill. Execute product development activities in a design control environment. Participate as part of the laboratory staff; plan and perform experiments that support new product or technology feasibility testing. Analyze data generated from experiments. Report results of experiments to R&D management and peers. Advise of the product development implications arising from the results. When necessary, prepare technical reports. This position consists of extensive hands‑on mechanical laboratory testing involving tension, compression and torsion testing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
