Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Location: Ottumwa, IA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals and families.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in health status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Iowa.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification is a plus but not required.
• Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult abuse required.
• Drug test (10-panel screening, including opiates) required.
