Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8 AM - 12 PM, four times a week

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician for a six-week rapid response assignment. The qualified candidate will work in a 3-bed Cath Lab with additional holding bays, ensuring high-quality patient care and support during various procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, and peripheral diagnostics.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing catheterization.
• Monitor and manage patient vitals during procedures.
• Coordinate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exemplary care.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience in a Cath Lab.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (R) or RCIS/RCES credential required.
• If RCIS/RCES, must be willing to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado.
• Preferred: ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification.
• Experience in monitoring and holding procedures is highly valued.
