Talent Acquisition Specialist

SG Talent is partnering with a fast-growing, PE funded B2B software company to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is a great opportunity for a recruiter who’s ready to move beyond simply working requisitions and step into a role where they can become a trusted talent partner across the whole business . You’ll work directly with hiring managers and senior leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Finance and People, owning searches from initial intake through to accepted offer. The recruiting infrastructure is already in place — modern ATS, sourcing tools, AI-enabled workflows and hiring dashboards — so you’ll be able to focus on building strong pipelines, improving process and delivering results rather than starting from scratch. There’s a lot of autonomy in the role. You’ll have a genuine voice in how recruiting is run, where external agencies are used, how sourcing is approached and how the candidate experience continues to evolve. What You’ll Own Manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple open roles Run hiring-manager intake calls to define the profile, process, scorecard and timeline Build qualified candidate pipelines through direct sourcing and recruiting tools Conduct recruiter screens and coordinate assessments and interview panels Facilitate debriefs and help hiring managers make timely decisions Own offer negotiation and provide guidance around compensation and candidate closing Manage external agency relationships where needed Own job-board and LinkedIn postings Track hiring performance and provide regular reporting on pipeline health, time-to-fill and sourcing-channel performance Continuously improve recruiting processes, tooling and candidate experience The role is designed for someone who wants genuine ownership rather than simply supporting a larger recruiting team. What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of recruiting experience, either in-house or agency Experience managing multiple searches at the same time Experience using sourcing tools such as SeekOut, LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms Working knowledge of an ATS; Ashby experience is a plus Confidence advising hiring managers on candidate quality, process and compensation Experience negotiating and closing offers Strong organization and communication skills Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and executives An ownership mindset — someone who drives searches forward without needing constant direction Experience within SaaS, software or another high-growth business is a plus The company has invested heavily in AI-enabled recruiting workflows and expects the successful hire to be comfortable incorporating AI into their day-to-day work. That could include sourcing, candidate research, outreach, candidate summaries, interview preparation, scorecards and recruiting reporting. Experience using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or other AI platforms within recruiting would be highly valuable.
